How often do you check your finances?
Today I have been taking a deep dive into my finances, as I am about to make some extra investments in my company.
Before I do that, I need to make sure that the money is available, as I do not want to overcommit.
I have a bookkeeper who helps me and who assists with the tax work, which is great. And I still check my books, balances on a very regular basis.
Because what is in your books may not be the same as what is in your bank account. And what is in your bank account may not be the amount you get to spend.
Do you know your fixed expenses? Private and for your business?
It’s one of the questions I start my coaching with, as it is needed to help you with your financial prognoses. If you don’t know how much money you need to pay to keep your business open and live, how can you know what you need to aim for?
When you check your finances on a regular basis, you will make running your business easier.
