I don’t know what it is, but it makes me feel amazing. There is such a nice atmosphere, a great vibe and I am totally relaxed. I feel I have been on holiday for weeks, instead of one weekend away.

You need some Vitamin Sea
When I speak to people who I have not seen in a while they ask me: ‘Where do you live now? Are you still in London?’
Then I tell them I have moved to the Netherlands and I live in this amazing place called Scheveningen [I dare you: try to say it when you are not Dutch, and see how you do, it might be quite challenging].
The coast and the sea and beach never stop to amaze me. It’s like an instant reset button>> you instantly feel lighter and brighter. It’s why it’s also referred to as “Vitamin Sea”. Would you like to get some of the Vitamin Sea effects too {relation.firstName}?

1. Take a walk
What I love most about the beach, is the wind. It feels like it blows any worry, or non-helping thought straight out of my head. When I return from a beach walk, I feel instantly refreshed. Maybe you do not have a beach around you, but going for a walk outside will for sure allow you to refresh your mind.
2. Nap or meditate
It sounds like your mind is in need of refocusing. It might be running wild with all you have to do and think about. Tiresome right? So how about a nap? Closing your eyes for only 20 minutes can improve your mood, alertness and performance. No room or time to nap? How about a quick guided meditation instead?
3. Go to a happy place
Instead of finding yourself at a beautiful beach, with the sun on your face- you find yourself staring at a screen. Not entirely the same. But you can imagine yourself there. Simply visualise yourself at a beautiful beach, the ocean touching your feet. Allow yourself a small daydream and only focus your thoughts on the beach. Feels great right? Now get a screensaver of your beach to instantly feel good, and to return to this good feeling whenever you need.
Nothing better than the real thing
